Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Founder of Brick Road Counseling
My work in behavioral psychology began in 2001 and deepened during my graduate studies, where I served as a Behavior Consultant for children with developmental disorders. Helping parents navigate the emotional devastation of a diagnosis and guiding them back to a place of hope became my passion. This unwavering desire to support families forms the foundation of Brick Road Counseling and shapes every aspect of our practice today.
After completing my Master’s degree and over 3,000 hours of face-to-face client sessions, I earned my license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. My counseling experience spans individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of challenges, including child behavior issues, trauma, marital conflicts, postpartum depression, and parenting struggles.
In therapy, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where families can share their stories and work toward personal and parenting goals. I draw from relational and family systems theory, combined with behavioral strategies and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to create customized treatment plans that meet each family's unique needs. My approach is both practical and compassionate, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
As a parent myself, I understand the realities of raising a family. I’m happily married with four children, and my personal experiences have only deepened my commitment to helping families thrive. I know firsthand that parenting isn’t easy—but with the right support, it can be incredibly rewarding.
At Brick Road Counseling, our mission is to help families build stronger connections, improve communication, and overcome challenges together. You don’t have to walk this road alone—I’m here to help guide your family toward a brighter future.
The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can meet and talk about what's on your mind.
